I'm Nico
CS student, builder, and aspiring founder focused on creating products people actually use.
Computer Science student at Vancouver Island University, I care most about user experience, trust, and long-term retention. I enjoy building systems where small design decisions compound over time, especially in social and AI-driven products.
Full-stack web development with React, Next.js, and Firebase, with a focus on integrating AI models like OpenAI GPT and Google Gemini into real products. Comfortable working across the entire stack β from designing responsive frontends to building serverless backends, managing databases, and deploying to production.
Founder of Looply, an AI-powered web app that helps creators and builders plan content strategies and scope out their product ideas. Instead of generic chatbots, Looply uses structured workflows powered by OpenAI and Gemini to guide users step by step remembering their goals, niche, and progress across sessions. Built from the ground up with React, Firebase, and serverless architecture, and currently preparing for launch.
I'm building a life around tech, travel, and international opportunity. As an Italian passport holder still studying in North America, I have access to 192 destinations without a prior visa, and I see mobility as more than movement. It's access to new markets, cultures, and ideas that shape how I explore, build, and think globally.
Real products and course projects I've built and shipped.
An AI student application copilot MVP built with Lovable. Created to help students move faster through the internship and job search process with tailored application support and a simple workflow.

A first year course in computer science. Topics include structured programming, top-down program design, procedures, recursion, and an introduction to dynamic data structures. Completed Fall 2025 at VIU.
Topics include an introduction to objects, classes, object-oriented programming techniques (encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism), dynamic data structures (dynamic arrays, linked lists and trees), and abstract data types (stacks, queues and dictionaries). Currently enrolled. More details coming soon.
An introduction to applied and theoretical topics, designed to develop an understanding of key concepts in computer science. Topics include digital logic, programming language paradigms including logic and functional programming, computer organization and architecture, system software, software engineering principles, and theory of computation. Coming Soon
When I'm not coding, I'm exploring new cultures, cuisines, and perspectives. Travel fuels my creativity and broadens how I approach problem-solving in tech.
Capturing moments and sharing travel experiences through short-form video. Every trip becomes content that connects and inspires others.
Japan for tech culture, Switzerland for nature, Silicon Valley to connect with the startup ecosystem, and Dubai for real estate and a tax-free environment. Building a global perspective one trip at a time.
Tech I Use
I'm always open to founders, operators, and builders who want to share ideas, explore collabs, or just talk shop.
